Metronet's Wind Down at the Mill City Museum will take place on Wednesday,
February 1, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. The Museum is located at 704 South
Second Street in Minneapolis and is part of the Minnesota Historical
Society. Its exhibits chronicle the flour milling industry that helped
fuel the growth of Minneapolis as the nation's "Mill City."

We will assemble in the Mill City Cafe a few minutes before 4:00 p.m. and
Laura Salveson, manager of the Museum, will join us and describe the
Museum, its exhibits, and educational programs. Light refreshments will be
served. Please plan to be on time as we have only one hour -- the Museum
closes at 5:00 p.m.

Parking information: Mill Quarter Ramp is located at 711 South Second
Street. The fully automated ramp accepts cash and credit card for daily
parking.

Parking meters are available on Second Street in front of the museum, on
several adjacent streets and at the west end of the Stone Arch Bridge.
Meters range from $.50 to $1 per hour. Meters take quarters only.

Surface lots are located on Second Street directly across the street from
the Museum and east of the Guthrie construction. Daily parking ranges from
$2 to $5. Fees increase during Twins and Vikings games.
