Shawn Rounds, Government Records Specialist at MHS, will talk about:
* General, high-level overview of current electronic records management and 
preservation issues
* How the State Archives is handling electronic records
* Resources for further information

Shawn is a Government Records Specialist with the Minnesota Historical 
Society's
Collections Department (State Archives), where her area of specialty is 
electronic records management and preservation. She has been involved in a 
number of electronic records projects including the department's latest 
work, Preserving the Records of the
E-Legislature (http://www.mnhs.org/elegislature), which is funded through 
the National
Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC).

The Minnesota History Center is at 345 Kellogg Blvd. W., St. Paul.We'll be 
meeting in the
library's Fraternal Classroom.

Directions: At the junction of I-35E and I-94 on the western edge of 
downtown St. Paul at the corner of Kellogg and John Ireland boulevards.
