Attendees at MALL's November Open House featuring Government Law
Librarians
filled out a survey. They thought it was:

"Very informative--nice mix of people"

"Nice overview of the profession; useful to hear stories of the
various MALL libraries"

"Interesting to speak with librarians with different specialties and
expertise"


If you didn't attend, here's your chance to network with practicing
librarians in private law firms. Learn about the varied career paths
available in the private setting and speak with librarians who have a
wide
range of expertise. Chat with a director and staff members in a very
large
national firm, a web master, a librarian with technical services
background,
an independent consultant, an IT director, or a librarian in a firm with
a
very specialized practice! All are eager to share their stories and
advice
for networking, career building, and informational interviews.

AGENDA
An informal presentation will begin at 4:30 PM but resource people will
be
available to speak with you until 6:00 PM. You can come any time between
the
hours of 4:30 - 6:00 PM but the Wells Fargo Center doors close to the
public
at 6:00 PM.
