Hi folks!

I've heard great things about the rest of this series - I suspect this
meeting on academic law librarians will be good too.

OPEN HOUSE
featuring Academic Law Librarians
Wednesday, March 3, 2004
4:30-6:00 p.m.

Hosted by University of Minnesota Law Library
Walter F. Mondale Hall
229 19th Ave S
Minneapolis, Minnesota

Held in the Riesenfeld Rare Books Research Center, Rm. N-30 subplaza level

March 3rd is your last opportunity this year to network with practicing law
librarians at a MALL open house. This month, we're focusing on academic
law libraries. Learn about the varied career paths available in the
academic setting and speak with librarians who have a wide range of
expertise. Chat with a director of a new law library, a rare books curator,
librarians with subject expertise, authors, a web master and a technical
services librarian. All are eager to share their stories and advice for
networking and career building. This is a great opportunity to meet a
potential mentor or employer, and conduct informational interviews.

AGENDA
An informal presentation will begin at 4:30 PM but resource people will be
available to speak with you until 6:00 PM. You can come any time between
the hours of 4:30 - 6:00 PM. Tours of the Law Library will be available.
