The Influential Networker: Networking to Get Things Done
[]

This seminar will discuss how to do a network assessment. It will provide
advice on how to grow and maintain your networks. The course will also
address cross-network networking. It will help the participant identify the
type of decision-making process that will be used in order to build the
strategy to influence it. You will learn how to build a power map of an
organization, discuss how to build alliances and also how to avoid behavior
that undermines the trust you have built and weakens your ability to
influence others.

Targeted Learners
This presentation is targeted towards those who are seeking to develop
their personal and professional leadership skills. It is for those who
already are aware that networking is valuable and are ready to move on to
how to influence a network and how to maximize the use of the variety of
networks one belongs to. The course materials are at the intermediate level.

Critical learning questions:

1. How do I build and grow my networks?
2. How do I maximize the use of my contacts?
3. What is influence and how do I get and keep it?
4. What strategies do I use to exercise influence in a decision-making
process?
