We are excited to be able to hold our meeting at this center, which
includes a newly designed library, ballroom, classrooms, meeting rooms,
bookstore, offices, student services and food service. The College of
St. Catherine Student Center is the living room for a residential
college while also serving as a "home-away-from-home" for commuting
students, seminar visitors, returning students and a growing diversity
of visitors for the four Centers of Excellence.
The Learning Commons was designed to be an environment where students
can develop their critical thinking as well as acquire knowledge, and
was specifically designed for the way women learn. HGA, Inc.
architects and structural engineers were responsible for the design of
this project.
