On a lighter note ...

actors who bring voice to the famous cartoon family. The discussion, which
will be broadcast live via satellite Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 7:30 to 9

Live via satellite in Murphy Hall come and watch the people who created
"The Simpsons" talk about the classic series. For a family that began life
as a quick doodle on a napkin, The Simpsons have displayed remarkable
durability--blossoming, over fourteen seasons, into a worldwide cultural
phenomena while gleefully merging cartoonish hijinks with biting social
satire.
The Museum will celebrate the 300th episode of the show (airing February
16, 2003) by presenting a panel discussion with creator Matt Groening,
executive producer Al Jean, and several of the actors who bring voice to
television's original (sorry, Osbournes) dysfunctional family.
Panelists will include: Dan Castellaneta, Voices of "Homer Simpson,"
"Krusty the Clown," "Grampa Simpson," and others Matt Groening, Creator and
Executive Producer Al Jean, Executive Producer and Head Writer Harry
Shearer, Voices of "Mr. Burns," "Ned Flanders," "Principal Skinner," and
others Yeardley Smith, Voice of "Lisa Simpson"
The lecture is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
