Jody’s focal point is in mapping strategic pictures of today’s changing world interjecting compelling solution-driven content and anecdotes of success. It is through individual, community and company effort that we are finding and implementing the innovative solutions of today. Peter Derycz specializes in building and growing new companies from soup to nuts. His experience includes venture capital and private equity fund-raising (over $100M raised in four years), investor relations, developing and managing complex technology projects, building and deploying production systems, creating international satellite offices as well as general business management. Mr. Derycz is the Founder of various companies on three continents. For the past 20 years, he has been actively involved in designing, developing and deploying large library and document management systems that focus on delivering large amounts of information to information users in local and global settings. Peter will speak on:
· Why social responsibility is good for business
· Using challenge grants to foster community ownership and sustainability
· Creating culturally relevant programs with strong local staff and partnerships
