[Eurchap] Maximizing the use of evidence

Hi all,

How can we use evidence to improve programs and projects? An American Evaluation Association (AEA) survey found that more than two thirds of evaluation results do not get used. Simply reiterating our conclusions-only this time louder and more slowly-isn't an effective strategy to get more evidence used in policy decisions.

In this week's blog post, my colleague Andréa Ventimiglia presents some tangible steps that we can take to improve the chances that results inform decisions. The steps are explicitly articulated for program evaluators, but they provide valuable insight into evidence-for-policy more generally.
