Michel,
Elaine and I are in Amsterdam for a governance meeting (not IS&T related) but thought this would be a good opportunity to host a meet-and-greet reception to promote ASIS&T. This is simply a networking reception at which Elaine and I may make a few brief remarks about ASIS&T. It is not a formal meeting with an agenda and, therefore, does not lend itself to virtual participation interactions will primarily be one-on-one.
I am not sure if the listserv will allow attachments, but I'm attaching to this email the flyer we are distributing to our contacts in the area. Please feel free to share this widely.
Best, Lydia

Dear Diane
Thank you for alerting.
Is this an "ASIS&T only" event, or an event attached to another meeting ?
Are a place and time available so that one could try and figure out if attendance is possible?
Is there an agenda ? In any case it would be useful to circulate in advance a list of topics for discussion so that all members have a chance to express their views, ask questions, etc.
A record is useful, but there might be other ways to provide for live interaction. Is not "information technology" part of our name and domain ?
Best regards
Michel

In an effort to increase inclusivity throughout our European chapters, are looking into whether it will be possible to record their remarks for anyone who cannot be there but would like to hear their talks. ASIS&T will be in touch with more details.
