the 12th ISI-conference (International Symposium for Information Science) will take place from
march 9th to march 11th, 2011 in Hildesheim, Germany.

Because of the high demand, the early bird deadline is extented until January, 24th 2011.

As invited speaker we can announced today Prof. Dr. Kalervo Järvelin from the University of Tampere, School of Information Science, Finland. He is co-author of the book  "The Turn - Integration of Information Seeking and Retrieval in Context", published in 2005.

ISI 2011 offers an international program under the title "Information and Knowledge: global, social and free?" More than 40 papers in the main program as well as an industry track, a Doctoral session and student presentations guarantee interesting conference days.
