Vol. 2, Issue No. 2 of the International Journal of Education and
Development using ICT (IJEDICT), due to be published in May-June,
2006, will be a special issue on ICT for education and development in
the Caribbean.
IJEDICT is an internatioinally refereed e-journal that provides free
and open access to all of its content. The journal aims to strengthen
links between research and practice in ICT in education and
development in hitherto less developed parts of the world, e.g.,
developing countries (especially small states), and rural and remote
regions of developed countries.
The Editors are wanting articles on ICT for education and development
in the Caribbean for any of the IJEDICT sections, viz., academic,
peer-reviewed articles; "studies from the field" (edited but not peer
reviewed case studies); "project sheets" (brief descriptions of
relevant projects); "notes from the field" (working papers, and other
commentaries on relevant topics); and, book, software and other media
reviews.
Deadline for receiving articles for the Caribbean issue is April 30, 2006.
Earlier issues of the International Journal of Education and
Development using ICT (IJEDICT) can be viewed in the "archives" at:
