[Chapters-l] Carolinas Chapter - Informatics Discussion May 25

The Carolinas ASIS&T chapter (CC: ASIS&T) is sponsoring a lunch and discussion of  “The Entrepreneurial Spirit
in Informatics” on Friday, May
25, from 11-1pm at NCHICA offices in RTP. 
The North Carolina Alliance for Healthcare Information and
Communications Alliance, Inc. (NCHICA) is our host. Their offices are at 3200 Chapel Hill/Nelson
Blvd., suite 200 Cape Fear Bldg in the Research Triangle Park, NC. 

Come meet NCCU and UNC faculty,
local grad students and graduates, information professionals and RTP area
business colleagues. It is chance to talk about health informatics with folks
who create, design, and implement information analysis, healthcare, medical,
nursing, and clinical systems. We will discuss education programs, grants,
internships, and products.  

The goal of the meeting is to come up with action items
that would benefit IS professionals interested in developing business and healthcare informatics
systems.
