Introduction to Content Management Systems (CMS)

If you're facing a web site redesign and someone has said, "You need to
switch to a content management system (CMS)," here's an introductory
workshop that will demystify some of your options. What are the main
features of a CMS and why would you want one? How do three open source
systems (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) compare and what features do they have
that you'd want to incorporate into your new site?

Join us for an informative, interactive event that will leave you better
equipped to do a broader search among the many (open source and proprietary)
systems that may fit your needs.

When:
Saturday, April 18
9 a.m.-1 p.m. (approx)

Where:
Manning Hall, UNC-CH campus
Directions: http://sils.unc.edu/about/visit.html
