Hi Michael,

I like the idea of having two workshops in the morning. I am waiting to hear back from the rest of SIG KM but unless there are any major objects SIG KM could sponsor the SIG & Chapter best practices panel.

I wanted to bring up getting a corporate sponsor again, if you think it is worthwhile I will look into it. The company is called Connotate and they are a KM company located literally blocks from Rutgers University.

Subject: [Asistregional] ASIST Regional - Rutgers Feb. 19th - Program documents

Hello Everyone,

FYI, I've just added Michael Luesebrink, past-Chair of SIG STI, and Samantha Levin, officer in the Pratt ASIS&T Student Chapter, to this group - welcome.

Attached are two Microsoft Word documents:

1. A possible program breakdown for the February 19th program at Rutgers - please read through this, especially the notes 1-9, and provide feedback as soon as you can (we want to finalize this over the next couple of days, in order to reserve rooms at Rutgers, invite other speakers and begin the publicity process.

2. The second Word document contains the NEASIST program (held earlier this month) on UX (User Experience); I'm including this as a possible template for a morning panel/workshopt (3 speakers - the first provides an overview to UX; the second and third focus on various aspects of UX). Since EBSCO is not far off from Rutgers, perhaps we can ask them again...

Lots to consider - I tried to include all the ideas/suggestions you folks sent me; this might be too grandiose a program, so feel free to suggest how we might cut back, if needed.

And to add to "Note 9" of the program document - an "evening program" at Pratt (following the Rutgers program), from my point of view, could be held either Thursday evening or Friday evening (assuming Nadia arrives on Thursday; I intend to arrive on Thursday and leave on Saturday) - I leave that open for discussion.

    Thanks.

Michael

I suppose I can now call myself "Chair of the 2016 ASIS&T Regional Conference planning work group..."
