[ASIST-FL] Call for Chapter Officers - ASIST Florida

Hello.

It's time to reinvigorate ASIST Florida Chapter.  If we remain
directionless and do not hold meetings and events then our chapter funds
will be absorbed by ASIST.  That would be a shame.

We need to start by filling our officer positions.  Our current
officers, according to ASIST are:
Tom Terrell, Chair
Richard Austin, Secretary
Bahaa El-hadidy, Treasurer
Athena Hoeppner, Communications Officer
Donna Thomas, Regional Officer

Tom Terrell, our former chair, stepped down many months ago.  So at a
minimum, we need a new chair. I ask the current officers to confirm that
they are still willing and able to serve as an officer.  If I get no
reply within two weeks, I will assume that the officer position is
open.

I ask all interested chapter members to contact me if they are
interested in any of the offices.  Personally, I'd be happy to continue
as Communications Officer and willing to serve as chair.

In two weeks I will report back to you all with names of officers
willing to continue in their post in a more active role and the names of
members who are willing to serve as officers.  We can figure out how to
proceed at that time.
