[Asist-announce] Conf Call w/ ASIST Pres. on May 13 - limited participation

ASIS&T President Gary Marchionini is inviting members to participate 
in the second of a series of teleconference conversations with him and other
ASIST leaders.

The first conversation was be held on March 25, 2010on the issue of how to
best collaborate with other professional organizations around the globe will
be one topic of discussion.

The second, May 13 at 2:00 pm EST, solicits suggestions for recruiting and
retaining members of ASIS&T.

The procedure will be to 'register' for the conversation via an email 
request to rhill at asis.org that contains a question or topic.
The first 20 members to register will be sent the call-in number.

Others calls will be scheduled for the summer and be announced via the ASIST
membership listserv and on the ASIST website.  The idea is to give ASIST
members a chance to provide input, ask questions, and generally participate
in the Society more fully.
