Just a reminder that the following votes are coming up during August 2015 - I belive I already sent out a note about these but this is just a reminder Ive attached all relevant documents to this note
Ive also include a couple which are due om early September - I don't believe I have sent these out before
In order to avoid mailer problems Im sending out part of the documents with this note - the rest will follow in a subsequent note

1) ISO/DIS 18461, International museum statistics
This is a TC46/SC8 ballot for ISO/DIS 18461,International museum statistics. The ISO ballot does not officially open until July 6, 2015, however the draft standard is distributed in advance to allow for local translations. We are opening the NISO ballot now to allow a longer period of review.
This International Standard specifies rules for the museum community on the collection and reporting of statistics. It provides definitions and counting procedures for all types of resources and services that museums offer to their users.
If this draft standard receives sufficient approval, it can proceed directly to publication. If it is either not approved, or the Working Group decides to make substantive changes based on ballot comments, an FDIS version may be balloted.

2) Systematic Review of ISO 233-3:1999, Information and documentation - Transliteration of Arabic characters into Latin characters - Part 3: Persian language - Simplified transliteration
This is a ballot for the five-year systematic review of the TC46 standard ISO 233-3:1999, Information and documentation - Transliteration of Arabic characters into Latin characters - Part 3: Persian language - Simplified transliteration.
This part of ISO 233 establishes a simplified system for the transliteration of Persian characters into Latin characters. This simplification of the stringent rules established by ISO 233:1984 is especially intended to facilitate the processing of bibliographic information (e.g. catalogues, indices, citations, etc.).

3) ISO/FDIS 9001, Quality management systems - Requirements
This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:
a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and
b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
All the requirements of this International Standard are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.
NOTE 1 In this International Standard, the terms "product" or "service" only apply to products and services intended for, or required by, a customer.
NOTE 2 Statutory and regulatory requirements can be expressed as legal requirements.

4) Systematic Review of ISO 843:1997, Information and documentation -- Conversion of Greek characters into Latin characters
This is a ballot for the five-year systematic review of the TC46 ISO 843:1997, Information and documentation -- Conversion of Greek characters into Latin characters
This International Standard establishes a System for the transliteration and/or transcription of Greek characters into Latin characters. This System provides for two sets of rules, each constituting a type of conversion, which are:
- Type 1, transliteration of Greek characters into Latin characters
- Type 2, transcription of Greek characters into Latin characters

6) Review of ISO 214:1976 Documentation - Abstracts for publications and documentation
This International Standard presents guidelines for the preparation and presentation of abstracts of documents. 9) Systematic Review of IS0 9984:1996, Transliteration of Georgian characters into Latin characters
This is a ballot for the five-year systematic review of the TC46 IS0 9984:1996, Transliteration of Georgian characters into Latin characters.
This International Standard establishes a system for the transliteration of Georgian characters into Latin characters in accordance with the principles of stringent conversion in order to permit international information exchange, particularly by electronic means.
