Folks

i just voted for Gerry Grenier for NISO Vice Chair - since he was the 
only candidate (although there was an option for write ins)

NISO elections arent all that democratic

I was once on the NISO nominating committee - we did no work and never 
even met (not even by email)

But several months later I got a letter from NISO thanking me for 
nominating the following candidates- some of whom i had never even heard 
of let alone suggested for nomination
