Folks

i voted YES on

TC46 New Work Item Proposal for Technical Specification: Recommendation 
on methods of validating the success of deacidification processes for 
printed and handwritten documents

Baden suggested we abstain but I figured if they want to work on this 
why not even though its sort of out of our area - we will always have 
the opportunity to vote (or abstain) on whatever thet develop

If anyone has any objections to this just let me know

Also we need to vote on 2 other ISO New Work item by 8/17:

New Work Item Proposal for Technical Specification for the Encoding of 
Data Elements Based on Rules from ISO/IEC 15962 in an RFID Tag with 
Partitioned Memory

New Work Item Proposal for International Standard for a Unique Item 
Identifier (UII) for RFID Tags in Libraries

my inclination is to also vote YES on these - but if anyone has any 
other opinions just post a note to the list
