Overview
What skills, knowledge, traits, and expectations will you need to support
all types and sizes of libraries and their communities in the future? What
competencies will be necessary for information professionals to deliver
critical services and resources and to thrive in todays and tomorrows
society? How can library and information science schools and professional
development programs prepare library professionals? Presentation and
discussion will include requirements and expectations from educators and
from both the employees and employers perspective.
Who Should Attend?
All library professionals, employers, LIS students, and educators are
encouraged to attend this free web conference. The sessions will be recorded
and made available to all registrants.
