The IFLA Building Strong Library and Information Science Education (BSLISE)
Working Group is conducting an international study to learn the differing
qualification requirements (education, certification, individual
credentialing systems) for library and information "professional" practice
in order to develop a better understanding of the equivalence of credentials
and the role of LIS education. We invite the LIS community to participate
in an online survey (click on this link <https://www.1ka.si/a/115316>
https://www.1ka.si/a/115316) to provide information regarding professional
qualifications and certification in their country. We look forward to your
contribution to this important research by March 31, 2017.

The online survey is available in several languages and will soon be
available in Chinese. For information on BSLISE activities, please see:

information, please contact us at: <mailto:iflabslise at gmail.com>
