The IFLA Building Strong Library and Information Science Education (BSLISE)
Working Group is conducting an international study to learn about the
differing qualification requirements (education, certification, individual
credentialing systems) for library and information "professional" practice
in order to develop a better understanding of the equivalence of credentials
and the role of LIS education. We invite the LIS community to participate in
an online survey (click on this link: <https://www.1ka.si/a/115316>
https://www.1ka.si/a/115316) and provide information regarding professional
qualifications and certification in their country. We look forward to your
contribution to this important research by April 10, 2017. The survey is
available in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish.
