[Asis-l] iSchool at Illinois well represented at ASIS&T 2016

Faculty and students from the School of Information Sciences<http://ischool.illinois.edu/> at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will participate in the 2016 Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) Annual Meeting, to be held October 14-18 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The involvement of iSchool faculty extends beyond participation in the event. Associate Professor Kathryn La Barre is a member of the ASIS&T Board of Directors, contributing to governance activities. La Barre also served as chair of the jury that selected the Best Information Science Book of the Year. Associate Professor Catherine Blake was paper co-chair for the conference as well as a member of the jury that selected the Research Award.
