[Asis-l] Dan Albertson Appointed to SUNY at Buffalo Department of Library and Information Studies

The Department of Library and Information Studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Dan Albertson as Associate Professor beginning August, 2016. Dr. Albertson earned his PhD at the University of Indiana, Bloomington, in Information Science, with a minor in Computer Science. He worked from 2007 to 2016 at the University of Alabama. Dr. Albertson has published widely in information retrieval, especially on video information retrieval, in the Journal of the Association for Information Science & Technology, Journal of Documentation, and Journal of Information Science, among other venues. He is Statistical Manager for the Association for Library and Information Science Education, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for Online Information Review, and the Editorial Board of Journal of Information and Knowledge Management.?
