Dear Colleagues,


The Department of Library and Information Science of the Catholic
University of America (CUA) is pleased to announce that the American
Library Association's (ALA) Committee on Accreditation has granted
continued accreditation status to its Master of Science in Library and
Information Science (MSLIS) program. The next comprehensive review of the
program is scheduled for spring 2023.

The library and information science program at CUA has been continually
accredited by ALA since 1946/47. We welcome applications to the MSLIS
program for fall 2016 and spring 2017 (
