Information about Open Science Conference

The Open Science Conference 2017 is the 4th international conference of the
Leibniz Research Alliance Science 2.0. It is a continuation and development
of the former Science 2.0 Conference. It is dedicated to the Open Science
movement and provides a unique forum where researchers, librarians,
practitioners, politicians, and other important stakeholders can discuss and
exchange their ideas and experiences. The thematic focus is this year on
“open educational resources”.

We are very pleased to announce that the Opening Session will be held by
Professor Johannes Vogel, Chairman of the Open Science Policy Platform, and
Professor Barend Mons, Chairman of the High Level Expert Group on the
European Open Science Cloud.

Besides presentations by international experts, the conference programme
also includes a poster session for the accepted project presentations and a
panel discussion. Furthermore, two workshops are organised by the EU project
OpenUp ( <http://openup-h2020.eu/> http://openup-h2020.eu/).
