The Department of Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) seeks to
appoint a Lecturer to enhance the internationally leading iLab research
group.  CIS provides one of the largest postgraduate programmes in
Information and Library Studies in the UK, and is a member of the
iSchools group, a coalition of the worlds leading information schools. 
Our i-Lab research group has particular interests in information seeking
behaviour, information architecture, and information policy; with much
of our work societal in nature, investigating human information need and
use, and informing interactive public information system service design.
 The successful applicant will be expected to further develop the
Department’s reputation for excellence in one or more of these areas. 
S/he will also be expected to contribute to the Department’s teaching
activities in the areas of Information and/or Library Studies.
