[Asis-l] ALIS India 's oldest peer reviewed LIS research journal in Open domain

Annals of Library Information Studies, one of India 's oldest peer reviewed LIS research journal published by CSIR-NISCAIR has launched its open access archive (http://nopr.niscair.res.in/ handle/123456789/66 ) since its inception (i.e, Vol.1 , No.-1, 1954). A number of articles contributed by Library Science stalwarts like Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, B. C. Vickery, D. J. Foskets will now be available to all .
 
I feel that LIS fraternity around the globe will be immensely benefited by the efforts and urge other Indian LIS journals to make their contents available in the open access domain.
