The iSchool at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada is
seeking outstanding applicants for our doctoral program, to join funded
research projects in the following areas:
* Open government, open data and data retrieval/search
* Records and archives online (Internet and Cloud environments):
policy, control, and legal issues
* Social media and learning
* Sustaining information practices
Doctoral applicants interested in other research areas are also
encouraged to apply. Active research within the school spans a number of
areas:
* human information interaction
* the design of digital systems and environments
* user engagement and the user experience
* measurement and evaluation in library and information science
* values in design / multi-lifespan information system design
* knowledge organization
* visual analytics
