[Asis-l] Introduction to the HathiTrust Research Center: A Demo and Hands-On Session LIMITED @ JCDL 2013

The HathiTrust Research Center (HTRC) will provide a hands-on demonstration
and workshop at JCDL 2013, from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday, July 25 to overview
the latest HTRC software and services. HTRC is the public research arm of
HathiTrust with the goal of providing computational access and text
analytics to the HathiTrust Digital Library. HTRC brings scholars and
practitioners an infrastructure to search, collect, analyze, and visualize
the full text of nearly 3 million public domain works.
The 2-hour session will be split into two parts: 1) an information session
on the infrastructure, tools and interfaces and 2) a hands-on session with
the tools. We will demonstrate workset creation along with deployed text
analytics.
