LAC Group seeks an experienced Federal Client Services Manager to provide ongoing project management/proposal/client support services for our federal government clients located in and around our Rockville, MD office.  Must live within driving distance to Rockville / Washington DC metro area.
Responsibilities:

  *   Demonstrates the ability to lead, influence and be a self-starter;
  *   Responsible for the oversight of federal prime and sub-contracts;
  *   Support proposal preparation for contracts and task orders;
  *   Develop and implement strategy for clients assigned to you;
  *   Ability to deliver presentations to key clients;
  *   Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  *   Previous leadership roles in a governmental agency;
  *   Visualizing and assuming responsibility for new business development activities within your areas of expertise;
  *   Evaluating progress and results obtained, and recommending any necessary changes to achieve overall objectives and keeping the client informed of progress;
  *   Identify opportunities and use programs such as Salesforce to capture data and prepare/submit business development reports;
  *   Work with subordinate supervisors or team leaders;
  *   Plan, Develop, Coordinate, and Direct a number of programs/projects of major scope and complexity;
  *   Maintain relationships with clients, individuals and units within or outside the organization;
  *   Act as a mentor for lower-level employees;
  *   Other duties as required
Qualifications:

  *   5+ years' experience in working with a division of the Federal Government or having a Federal Government division as a client;
  *   Working knowledge of the government contracting process;
  *   Experience managing large complex federal programs or projects;
  *   Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  *   Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and without direct in-person supervision;
  *   Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  *   Ability to work in an environment with high stress and tight deadlines;
  *   Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and effectively;
  *   Experience working with a Library Support Services or Knowledge Management firm a plus
