LAC Group seeks an experienced Library Services Team Lead to provide ongoing project management, proposal writing, and client support services in the Metro Washington, DC area.   Travel within the Metro DC area is required, with our office located in Rockville, Maryland.   This is a permanent, full-time position with benefits. We are looking for a dynamic, self-starter with a subject matter expertise in the field of Information Management, including Library Support Services and Knowledge Management for the Federal Government.

Responsibilities:

§  Demonstrate the ability to lead, influence and be a self-starter

§  Responsible for the oversight of public sector and commercial contracts

§  Prepare, write and edit proposals for contracts and task orders

§  Develop and implement strategy for contracts and clients

§  Support business development activities at existing clients

§  Managing, mentoring, and training assigned staff

§  Additional duties as required

Qualifications:

§  Experience working with Federal or Local Government

§  MLS or MLIS Degree

§  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

§  Experience managing programs or projects

§  Ability to both work effectively in a virtual environment, and manage employees both on and off-site

§  Excellent organizational and time management skills

§  Ability to work in an environment requiring flexibility and meet deadlines

§  Ability to use office automation technologies, including Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Salesforce, SharePoint, and Yammer a plus
