If you missed yesterday's virtual open house about the online MLIS option in the School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) at Kent State University, you can watch the recorded session here: http://w-slis-stream.slis.kent.edu/KSU/Viewer/?peid=46fa346660634f58858efdc4c4dbc569.

The eDegree option is Web-based -- all courses will be completed online. And you can specialize in more than a dozen different areas of library and information science, including youth librarianship, museum studies, academic librarianship, cataloging/metadata, digital preservation, and more.

SLIS Associate Professor Greg Byerly, Ph.D., briefly describes the program and answers questions. You'll also hear from current eDegree student Tina Lewis, who is specializing in K-12 school library media services.

For more information about the eDegree option, visit http://www.kent.edu/slis/programs/mlis/edegree.cfm.

To view previous SLIS webinars, visit http://www.kent.edu/slis/programs/wednesday-webinars.cfm.

(Note: If you do not already have Silverlight on your computer, you may need to download it in order to view the presentation. It's free at http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx/.)

All the best,

Flo
