It's always great to see ASIST members in the news! Becca Anderson, an
ASIST student member, is a doctoral candidate exploring the relationship
between information disseminators and information consumers utilizing
network analysis.

When a University of Tennessee School of Information Sciences teacher
partners with local businesses and throws in a little Google magic,
students get an educational experience rich in substance. Recognition for
those in the teaching professions that
go the extra mile is sometimes sparse. It¹s nice when said teacher gets
recognized for her extraordinary effort.
The University of Tennessee¹s College of Communication and Information
posted a story about the School of Information Sciences¹ INSC102
undergraduate minor class in its monthly publication, Circle Park News
(http://www.cci.utk.edu/enewsletter/Apr2012).
