A memorial service and tribute to Dr. Deborah Barreau, Frances Carroll McColl Term Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Information and Library Science, will be held one week from today on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the George Watts Hill Alumni Center Ballroom on the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus.

Dr. Barreau passed away on February 10, 2012 after a year-long battle with cancer (see http://sils.unc.edu/remembrance/deborah-barreau ).

We hope you will join us for this special service as we honor Dr. Barreau and celebrate her life.
