NORASIST presents a

Show & Tell

Monday, April 30, 2012

6 p.m.

Kent Free Library
312 West Main Street, Kent, OH 44240

in the Second Floor Meeting Room

Are you an information science student, researcher, or practitioner? Well, this is an event you won't want to miss!

NORASIST invites you (members and non-members) to our
free Show & Tell event! We'd like to hear more about you!

• Have you made a website and learned as much about the decision-making process as you did about new HTML code?

• Are you a student with a new research idea you'd like to share?

• Are you just interested in meeting some information-minded folks and getting to know our NORASIST chapter better?

Come tell us all about it! We are interested in all topics related to LIS, UXD, HCI, IA, and KM

This will be an informal session in which presenters will have up to 15 minutes
to introduce themselves and share something with the group.
In case you'd like to sling some slides, we'll have a projector and laptop available for you!*

*slide slinging totally optional!

We know that it takes some nerve to get up in front of people, so we're going to head over to

Ray's Place for dinner (135 Franklin Ave., Kent) when the presentations finish so we can chat in a more relaxing environment
(leaving the library by 8:30 pm at the latest)

Dinner is Dutch Treat (pay your own way)

EXTRA CREDIT!!!
If you've not had a chance to join NORASIST yet, this is THE event to attend.
Not only will you be gaining all the benefits of ASIST membership, but . . .

the first two people to join NORASIST as new members that night will win a free book!
