If you’ve been thinking about getting a Ph.D., but haven’t found just the right program that matches your diverse interests, your wait may be over.
Kent State University’s College of Communication and Information (CCI) offers an interdisciplinary doctoral program that gives students a foundation in communication and information, and then allows them to tailor their coursework and research based on their developing interests and expertise. This doctoral program reflects the convergence of the communication and information disciplines taking place in the academic, commercial and professional world.
Among the areas of study in this unique Ph.D. program are “library and information science,” “user experience design” and “knowledge management.” These areas draw upon the research and expertise of the faculty in Kent State’s School of Library and Information Science (SLIS), one of the top 20 programs in the nation (according to U.S. News and World Report), and in its renowned Information Architecture and Knowledge Management (IAKM) program.
Join us for a free online open house to find out if this Ph.D. opportunity is right for you. This interactive session will allow you to ask questions LIVE, via email, and the presenters will answer as many questions as possible in the hour-long session.
