Workshops 101
Kent State University's School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) offers dozens of continuing education workshops every year for students, librarians, para-professionals and information professionals. What kinds of workshops are available? Who should take workshops? Why are they important to your professional development? When and where are they offered? How do you apply and register to take a workshop?
Rhonda Filipan, M.A., M.L.S., academic program coordinator for SLIS, will answer these questions and more at an online open house on Wednesday, July 6, at noon. You'll be able to view her presentation from the convenience of your computer and even ask questions, which Rhonda will answer in real time. To register for the open house, e-mail ksuslis at gmail.com. You'll receive a response with the link for the open house.
All the best,
Flo
