Connecting with the Feds: Social Media, Collaboration, and Transparency,

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, The Catholic University of
America's Pryzbyla Center (Room 320B)  - note change in location


The event is being presented as part of the ALA 2010 Conference. The
School of Library and Information Science of The Catholic University of
American is sponsoring this event, along with the American Society for
Information Science and Technology PVC chapter and the ALA's Federal and
Armed Forces Libraries Round Table. The discussion will cover social
media tools and their role in creating a more open government. The
keynote speaker will be David McClure GSA. Speakers will include social
media and open government staff from NASA, State, EPA, and more. Dr.
Ingrid Hsieh Yee, acting Dean of the Catholic University School of
Library and Information Science will give introductory remarks.

ALA Conference to participate in this event.
