Contribute before January 10, when the then-existing version of the wiki
will be used as the basis for the printed textbook.
Calling all ASIST members - help create *Introduction to Information
Science and Technology*, an introductory textbook for our field. IIST is
being written collaboratively by ASIS&T members, edited by Ralf Shaw and
Chuck Davis.
More than 70 members have contributed to the wiki that houses the first
draft of this unique collaborative work. A new textbook based on the IIST
wiki will be published by Information Today, Inc. on behalf of ASIST.
The wiki will live on as a dynamic resource, featuring in-depth
presentations that enhance and supplement the printed text.
