[Asis-l] New Emerald Library and Information Science Book Series Editor Appointed

Amanda Spink, Research Capacity Building Professor of Information Science in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the Queensland University of Technology, has been appointed editor of the Emerald Library and Information Science book series. She succeeds the retiring editor Professor Bert Boyce from Louisiana State University.

Amanda brings to the editorship her extensive experience in scholarly research and publishing, including 6 books, over 320 publications and editing many journal special issues. She was recently reported as having the second highest citation h-index score in the field of Library and Information Science.

The Emerald Library and Information Science series publishes scholarly books on leading edge issues and broad research areas of library and information science including, but not limited to, information architecture, information behavior, digital libraries, informetrics, Webometrics, bibliometrics, interactive information retrieval, digital librarianship, information literacy, information management, Web studies, organizing information, information economics, history, policy, ethics and philosophy.

An Advisory Board for the book series will be announced shortly.
