The Kennedy Library at California Polytechnic State University (Cal
Poly) in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California, is seeking an innovative
science librarian who enjoys working closely with faculty to foster 21st
century information skills in a multidisciplinary “learn by doing”
campus environment.

As a member of the Cal Poly faculty and working in a team of seven
College Librarians, the SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS LIBRARIAN is responsible
for supporting the students, faculty, and staff in the College of
Science and Mathematics (CSM).  Additional responsibilities include:

* providing information instruction and assistance through in-person and
virtual reference services;
* developing and managing library collections in science and
mathematics; and
* participating in new and ongoing projects involving digital resources,
web-based services, and other library initiatives.

This full-time tenure-track position is available at the Senior
Assistant Librarian level with an anticipated hiring salary range of
$56,000-$58,000/year, or at the Associate Librarian Level, with an
anticipated hiring salary range of $64,000-$66,000/year, plus a generous
benefits package.  Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and
experience.  Position open until filled; review of applications will
