LAC seeks an articulate and seasoned Knowledge Management (KM) Project Manager with a strong managerial and administrative background for the Office of the Chief Knowledge Officer at our client's site, a scientific & technical library of a national government organization located in Greenbelt, MD.   The PM will support the CKO with implementation, administration, and management of a variety of KM projects and initiatives including but not limited to information content management, information management architecture, and learning initiatives.  
 
The ideal candidate will have at least several years of progressively responsible experience, proven leadership, familiarity with the application of technology to knowledge management, and the ability to steer projects to completion. Previous experience with federal contracting is highly desirable.
 
Responsibilities:

* Work closely with CKO and staff teams to develop, implement, and evaluate KM services and establish KM practices; 
* Provide direction to contract staff, including assignment and monitoring of tasks, evaluation; 
* Build and maintain relationships with the Agency community; 
 

Qualifications:

* Advanced degree in library or information science with focus on knowledge management or similar degree and relevant experience; 
* Proven team player and leader; 
* Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; 
* Proven ability to work effectively with senior staff, employees, and customers.
