Tools to Better Manage Electronic Collections
Continuing its promise to provide the best resources for customers, IEEE
has completed the Serials Solutions KnowledgeWorks Certification program.
Serials Solutions provides a complete family of e-resource access and
management services that lets libraries better manage their constantly
changing electronic literature collections. The program, which establishes
a unique working relationship between IEEE and Serials Solutions, ensures
that IEEE?s collection of high quality engineering literature is organized
to better meet the needs of customers. Obtaining the KnowledgeWorks
certification means customers will be able to take advantage of more
Serials Solutions services when searching IEEE content, like the 360 Link
OpenURL Link Resolver, the 360 Search Federated Search, and 360 MARC
Updates. The collaboration between IEEE and Serials Solutions will also
allow librarians to easily access and manage the IEEE Xplore® database,
customized to their own specific needs.
