Usual apologies for this showing up more than once in your mailboxes

We are pleased to announce a new professional development opportunity for
state and public librarians. The Simmons College Graduate School of Library
and Information Science (Boston, MA) has received an IMLS grant enabling us
to offer a full scholarship plus travel stipend to qualifying state and
public librarians wishing to attend our Managerial Leadership for the
Information Professions (MLIP) doctoral program. The MLIP program is
designed for working professionals in mid to upper levels of management
seeking career advancement through education. A blended structure consisting
of both in-person and distance instruction allows professionals to pursue a
doctoral degree without sacrificing their current employment.

Please see our website for information on this opportunity and other
doctoral studies at Simmons, and to access the online application.
