e-Science is used to describe computationally intensive science that is
carried out in highly distributed network environments, or science that uses
immense data sets that require grid computing; the term sometimes includes
technologies that enable distributed collaboration.

the advancement of science and scholarly communication.
A panel of two practicing scientists from very different disciplines who
will present what they are doing to advance knowledge and discuss what they

order to maximize the potential of the Web, addressing such topics as

scholarly communication.
