Technology Consultant, Washington State Library

The Office of the Secretary of State, Washington State Library is
recruiting for one permanent Technology Consultant (Information
Technology Specialist 2 in training to Information Technology Specialist
3).  

We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical, and collaborative person to
serve as a resource to individual libraries statewide on a wide range of
IT related issues. The Technology Consultant will provide help desk
services to libraries across the State, consultancy on information
technology and the federal E-Rate program, server administration for
centralized services to libraries and IT support for Library Service and
Technology Act (LSTA) funded initiatives and projects. Under general
supervision and using established work methods and procedures, the
incumbent will analyze technology needs, consult with external customers
and in-house staff, arrive at solutions, and make insightful
recommendations.
