I am pleased to announce the creation of a new global Facebook Group
named

_Mercury: OnCall-OnDemand-OnSite Reference Services_

_Mercury_ is intended to serve as forum and venue in which interested
(and uninterested and disinterested) [:-) ] individuals can discuss the
development and implementation of OnCall / OnDemand / OnSite Reference
Services.

Two primary approaches are currently In The News:

ONE: Use of chat reference services for patrons to request DeskSide
reference service from library and IT staff where the Library Comes To
The Patron.

TWO: Use of cell /phone by patrons to request DeskSide reference
service from library and IT staff where the Library Comes To The
Patron.
