INTRODUCTION:
The School of Information and Library Science <http://sils.unc.edu> (SILS)
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will host DigCCurr2007,
an international symposium on Digital Curation, April 18 - 20, 2007. This
two-day event is part of the "Preserving Access to Our Digital Future:
Building an International Digital Curation" project funded by the Institute
of Museum of Library Services (IMLS). The National Archives and Records
Administration (NARA) is a partner in this effort.
DigCCurr2007 will focus on what digital curators do and what they need to
know to carry out this work and each speaker is asked to address these
issues in their presentation.

Anyone interested in digital preservation and curation, especially those who
are building staff capacity in these areas.
